HoneyTide is here to help where we can

HoneyTide Apiary is a small, growing apiary based in the Springfield/Eugene, Oregon area. We welcome questions about honey bees, native pollinators, beginner beekeeping, swarm awareness, and pollinator-friendly practices.

If you are reaching out about a swarm, please include a clear photo, location, approximate height from the ground, how long it has been there, and whether it is easy to access.

Found a Swarm?

HoneyTide may be able to help with easy-access honey bee swarms in the Springfield/Eugene and surrounding areas, especially swarms hanging from trees, branches, fences, shrubs, or open outdoor spaces.

Camron Purdum is personally listed on the Oregon State Beekeepers Association swarm list for Lane County. HoneyTide Apiary is not an official OSBA organization or service provider, but Camron may be able to help with easy-access honey bee swarms when available.

For structural removals inside walls, roofs, chimneys, buildings, or major property structures, please contact a professional bee removal service.

A quick note from Camron

Bees can feel intimidating when they gather in large numbers, but honey bee swarms are usually focused on finding a new home. Please do not spray them, shake them, or disturb them. When possible, give them space and reach out for help.

HoneyTide’s goal is to support both people and pollinators with care, respect, and practical guidance.
